The FCA was advised by its existing events provider that the company would cease trading as a result of circumstances arising from Covid-19.
The FCA therefore urgently needed to source a replacement events provider to ensure continuity of service. As such, the FCA did not have sufficient time to run an OJEU-compliant exercise. The replacement contract has been put in place to cover the re-procurement of this service, which will be conducted in line with the relevant directives.
